Genaral Information
Now days most of the citizen from foreign country
are possible to get married legally in Bali as long
as they could fulfill legal requirements. For
those who wish to get married legally in Bali, they
must in possesion of a religious ceremony first based
on the couple`s religion which is recognized by
Indonesian government. There are five religions
recognized namely : Christian ( church of England
), Catholic, Budhism, Muslim, and Hindu.
Religious Ceremony
For religious ceremony of each religion is a requirement
by their own religion which must be fulfilled such as :
Catholic : must prepare
- Baptism Certificate for both bride and groom -
Delegation letter from the church must be addressed
to Catholic church in Bali for officiating the marriage
- Fill the pre - nuptial course provided by local
church in the couple`s church - Copy of CHRISTIAN
passport ( Church of England ) - Baptism Certificate
for both bride and groom if any - Copy of passport.
Budhism : the wedding
ceremony for Budhism can be conducted only in the
Temple and blessed by the Monk but then the legal
ceremony can be done in the hotel.
Muslim : Muslim wedding
ceremony can be performed in the hotel but a few
days before the ceremony the couple need to come
before the Head of Religious affairs office. Only
have religious ceremony and no civil services as
Muslim wedding in Indonesia recognized by some countries
in the world however the couple need to prepare
the following document : - Copy of passport - Birth
Certificate - Certificate of non impediment issued
by Embassy or consulate office of the couple based
in Indonesia - Shoulder photo 2 x 3 cm 8 peaces.
Bride and groom are not sitting together.
Legal Wedding Ceremony
Legal wedding ceremony can only be organized
after the religious ceremony is completed and all
the requirements are fulfilled. The requirements
are : Passport must be valid at least 6 month after
arrival in Bali - Birth Certificate for both bride
and groom - Certificate of non impediment issued
by Embassy or consulate office of the couple - An
absolute divorce certificate or any other related
document is required if either one had been married
previously - Fill wedding application form in this
case the form that is provided by Wedding of Bali - Shoulder
photo with size 4 cm high by 6 cm length ( 4 x 6
cm ) bride and groom sitting side by side. Your
photo can be sent via e-mail and will be developed
in Bali with no extra cost.
Apart from Legal wedding, we also organize wedding
commitment and renewal wedding vows ceremony the cost of
package for the wedding commitment and renewal vows
will be the same.
